Basis of Preparation
This report is prepared in accordance with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's "Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Guide" (Appendix C2), the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's "Listed Company Self-Regulatory Supervision Guidelines No. 17 – Sustainable Development Report (Trial)" and Chapter on "Social Responsibility" in "Shenzhen Stock Exchange Listed Company Self-Regulatory Supervision Guidelines No. 1 – Main Board Listed Company Standardized Operation," and the "GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards (2021 Edition)" by the Global Reporting Initiative. It also references the China Banking Regulatory Commission's "Opinions on Strengthening the Social Responsibility of Banking Financial Institutions" and the China Banking Association's "Guidelines for Social Responsibility of Banking Financial Institutions."
Reporting Principles
- Materiality: The bank dynamically reviews and confirms material issues for the year by collecting stakeholder feedback, ensuring the report focuses on areas with significant impact on the bank and its stakeholders.
- Quantification: Key performance indicators for historical data are quantifiable, and where possible, details on standards, methods, assumptions, calculation tools, and conversion factor sources are disclosed.
- Balance: This report objectively presents the bank's performance during the reporting period, avoiding choices, omissions, or reporting formats that could unduly influence the decisions or judgments of report readers.
- Consistency: Unless otherwise stated, the reporting statistics are consistent with previous years.

The information and data disclosed in this report are derived from Zhengzhou Bank's internal documents, statistical reports, annual reports, and ESG practice cases. Financial data in this report comes from the bank's 2025 financial statements prepared in accordance with Chinese Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards. Unless otherwise specified, the financial data in this report is calculated according to the aforementioned standards without differences. The bank's 2025 financial statements have been audited by an accounting firm. Unless otherwise specified, financial data in this report is in RMB.
