Environmental Section
Climate Change Response
Wuliangye views green and low-carbon initiatives as vital to its operations, aiming for the ambitious goal of becoming a "zero-carbon liquor enterprise." To better address climate change, the company conducts annual adaptation analyses and identifies key ESG-related risks based on the TCFD framework, providing references for strategic planning and risk management. Following the industry's first formulation of the "Zero-Carbon Liquor Enterprise Dual Carbon Strategic Plan," we will implement the "Green Ecological Development Enterprise Standards" in 2025. Additionally, we are systematically optimizing our energy structure and upgrading smart environmental protection facilities, with total environmental investments reaching 180 million RMB for the year. Through initiatives such as deepening the biomass cogeneration of distiller's grains and expanding biogas power generation, our clean energy usage continues to rise. We not only practice green production ourselves but also extend sustainable concepts throughout the entire industry chain, collaborating with upstream and downstream partners to reduce carbon emissions and protect the ecological barrier of the upper Yangtze River, contributing to the construction of a beautiful China.
Social Contributions
Wuliangye actively shares its development achievements, adhering to the social philosophy of "harmony and coexistence." In 2025, we will continue to increase our investment in rural revitalization, with total expenditures exceeding 65 million RMB, benefiting over 1.84 million people and supporting industrial development and farmers' income growth. In the field of public welfare, we donated over 51.42 million RMB, focusing on key areas such as education and healthcare, spreading the warmth of "harmony" to broader corners. We regard our employees as our most valuable asset, continuously improving our occupational health and safety system, with annual safety production investments exceeding 240 million RMB, providing diverse growth paths and a harmonious work environment for our employees. We also take concrete actions to reward the trust of our investors, implementing a total cash dividend of approximately 22.3 billion RMB for the 2024 fiscal year, sharing the dividends of high-quality development with our investors.
Governance Section
In 2025, we established the ESG Executive Committee and formed ESG working groups to implement sustainable development at the execution level from the core strategic height of the company. We have built a compliance, risk, and internal control management system that spans all business processes and have obtained dual certification for our compliance management system. In the digital wave, we leverage "smart transformation" to enhance management efficiency and decision-making through our "digitally integrated intelligent factory" recognized as a national-level excellent intelligent factory by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Looking ahead, Wuliangye will continue to deepen ESG practices, creating long-term value for society, providing substantial returns for shareholders, crafting a better blueprint for employees, and brewing exquisite liquor for consumers, writing a new chapter of "harmony" in the grand journey of Chinese-style modernization.
