Chairman's Statement
Dear shareholders, partners, and colleagues: In 2025, the world is undergoing unprecedented changes, with deep adjustments in the global economic landscape and the intertwining of trade barriers and geopolitical games reshaping global industrial and supply chain competition. Meanwhile, the acceleration of global energy transition has led to explosive demand for high-performance composite materials, placing the fiberglass industry at a historical juncture of opportunities and challenges. On the occasion of the official release of the "2025 Annual Sustainability Report," I would like to express my sincere respect and heartfelt gratitude to the global shareholders and partners who have long trusted and supported the development of the Company, as well as to all colleagues who have worked together with a shared vision!
Green and low-carbon: We practice our commitments through practical actions and empower the future through steadfastness. In the face of the deepening implementation of global "dual carbon" goals and the pressures from the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), green manufacturing has evolved from a competitive advantage to a market access threshold. In 2025, International Composite will adhere to its original intention of green development, focusing on low-carbon transformation across the entire industry chain, continuously promoting energy-saving renovations of kilns, upgrading glass formulations, and reducing carbon emissions per unit product. We aim to extend the construction of green factory systems to overseas subsidiaries, establishing a comprehensive green development system covering research and development, production, operation, and recycling.
Technological breakthroughs: We innovate to break through barriers and build hard-core defenses. The dual challenges of industry overcapacity and intensified homogenization competition highlight that only high-end and differentiated development can open up sustainable new paths. In 2025, International Composite will anchor its development direction in advanced composite materials, deepen its layout in thermoplastic composite materials, and accelerate the large-scale application of thermoplastic wind turbine blades. We will continue to focus on high-value segments such as electronic-grade high-frequency low-dielectric fiberglass and ultra-high modulus fiberglass, optimizing capacity structure and enhancing quality assurance capabilities.
Responsible governance: We respond to expectations with transparency and practice our responsibilities with steadfastness. As the concept of sustainable development deeply integrates into the global economic development context, a comprehensive sustainable development governance system has become an inherent requirement and core competitiveness for high-quality corporate development. International Composite has always embedded responsible governance into its corporate DNA, continuously improving its governance operation mechanisms, deepening responsibility practices in various fields, and integrating sustainable development concepts into daily business decisions and operations to achieve coordinated development of economic, environmental, and social benefits.
