Zhongneng Guozhen Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") deliberated and passed the "Proposal on the Termination of the Taizhou Hailing District Urban Ecological Water Environment Treatment PPP Project" at the twelfth meeting of the Eighth Board of Directors held on July 29, 2026. The Company agreed to terminate the Taizhou Hailing District Urban Ecological Water Environment Treatment PPP Project (hereinafter referred to as the "Taizhou PPP Project") and requested to sign a project termination agreement in accordance with regulations to properly handle subsequent work. The main situation is as follows:
I. Overview of Project Basic Information
On July 21, 2022, the Company, China Railway Fourth Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Railway Fourth Bureau"), and Tianjin Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianjin Municipal Engineering") formed a consortium and won the bid for the Taizhou PPP Project. The main investment content of this project includes new constructions such as rainwater and sewage diversion and its ancillary facilities, improvement of sewage pipe networks, expansion and renovation of sewage treatment facilities, supporting sludge disposal facilities, and smart monitoring system construction, as well as existing projects such as the first phase and continuation of the Chengbei Sewage Treatment Plant. The planned cooperation period is 30 years, with a total investment of 2,241.7932 million yuan.
