Shenzhen Haoneng, a subsidiary of the Company, recently received a summons from the Chongqing First Intermediate People's Court (Case No.: (2026) Yu 01 Min Zhong 8266) and the appellant's (original plaintiff) civil appeal brief, and hereby announces the progress of the litigation as follows:
I. Basic Situation of This Litigation Matter
On December 15, 2023, the Company issued the "Announcement on Major Litigation Involving Wholly-owned Subsidiary" (Announcement No.: 2023-110). The announcement disclosed that according to the information from Sichuan Changhong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Changhong New Energy"), Sichuan Jiechuang, a controlled subsidiary of Changhong New Energy, filed a lawsuit against Shenzhen Haoneng with the Mianyang Intermediate People's Court on December 11, 2023.
On January 11, 2024, the Company issued the "Announcement on Progress of Major Litigation Involving Wholly-owned Subsidiary" (Announcement No.: 2024-006), disclosing the receipt of the "Notice of Appearance" from the Mianyang Intermediate People's Court of Sichuan Province [(2023) Chuan 07 Min Chu 62] and other relevant litigation materials.
On February 22, 2024, the Company issued the "Announcement on Progress of Major Litigation Involving Wholly-owned Subsidiary" (Announcement No.: 2024-016), disclosing that on February 5, 2024, the parties had a hearing on the objection to jurisdiction at the Mianyang Intermediate People's Court of Sichuan Province, and the court heard the matters during the jurisdiction objection process.
On March 21, 2024, the Company issued the "Announcement on Progress of Major Litigation Involving Wholly-owned Subsidiary" (Announcement No.: 2024-023), disclosing the receipt of the "Civil Ruling" from the Mianyang Intermediate People's Court of Sichuan Province dated March 15, 2024 [(2023) Chuan 07 Min Chu 62]. The ruling stated: The case is transferred to the Chongqing Fifth Intermediate People's Court for jurisdiction.
