Beijing Fengjing Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") held the ninth meeting of the fifth Board of Directors on October 11, 2021, and reviewed and approved the "Proposal on Investing in the Construction of a Lithium Battery Project." The Company plans to invest in the construction of a 10GWh lithium battery project. This investment is for the first phase, with an annual production capacity of 2GWh and an investment of 800 million yuan. For details, please refer to the "Announcement on Investing in the Construction of a Lithium Battery Project" (Announcement No.: 2021-037) disclosed on the CNINFO website on October 12, 2021. The progress of the project is as follows:
I. Project Progress Overview
(I) Completion of the Lithium Battery Project (New Lithium Titanate Battery) Construction
The first phase of the lithium battery project (new lithium titanate battery) with a capacity of 2GWh invested by the Company has been fully constructed. The products have been rolled off the production line and are in a state of mass production. All product performance and safety tests have met national standards, and the project is currently in the customer negotiation phase.
(II) Characteristics of the New Lithium Titanate Battery Product
The new lithium titanate battery independently developed by the Company is based on conventional lithium titanate batteries. Through technological innovation, the energy density has been improved, offering the following advantages:
- Intrinsic Safety, Non-combustible and Non-explosive Lithium titanate batteries have inherent high safety. Under extreme test conditions such as extrusion, puncture, and cutting, they do not catch fire or explode and have good thermal stability.
