COFCO Capital Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "COFCO Capital" or "the Company") is a specialized company under COFCO Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "COFCO Group") that operates and manages financial businesses. Headquartered in Beijing, its member enterprises include China Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Life"), COFCO Trust Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "COFCO Trust"), COFCO Futures Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "COFCO Futures"), COFCO Agricultural Industry Fund Management Co., Ltd., COFCO Capital Technology Co., Ltd., and COFCO Capital (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. In April 2017, COFCO Capital Investment Co., Ltd. was selected for the mixed-ownership reform pilot program approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. In August of the same year, COFCO Capital Investment Co., Ltd. introduced strategic investors such as Hony Capital Fund Partnership (Shenzhen) (Limited Partnership) and Beijing Sannong Food Group Co., Ltd., completing its mixed-ownership reform. In June and December 2018, the company's major asset restructuring project successively received approval from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and was completed in early 2019. COFCO Capital Investment Co., Ltd. became a wholly-owned subsidiary of COFCO Capital Holdings Co., Ltd. On September 29, 2019, the listed company's name was officially changed to "COFCO Capital Holdings Co., Ltd."; on October 8 of the same year, the company's stock abbreviation was changed to "COFCO Capital" with the stock code "002423.SZ". After more than 20 years of development, COFCO Capital has forged a financial service chain with "life insurance, trust, and futures" as its main businesses, supplemented by "industry funds, cross-border finance, and financial technology." During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, COFCO Capital will take digitalization as its development strategy. Building on its existing businesses, it will focus on expanding innovative businesses such as supply chain finance and elderly care finance, integrating industry and finance, and finance with finance, to become a comprehensive financial platform characterized by serving COFCO's businesses and benefiting the people.
