2025 Annual Independent Director's Performance Report
According to the "Administrative Measures for Independent Directors of Listed Companies" and the "Independent Director System of Tianjin Lifeon Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.", I, as an independent director of Tianjin Lifeon Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), hereby submit this annual performance report to the Board of Directors and Shareholders' Meeting, explaining the fulfillment of my duties, for your review.
I. Basic Information
(I) Work Experience, Professional Background, and Concurrent Positions
I am Wei Dongzhi, born in 1963, a Chinese national with no permanent residency abroad. I graduated from East China University of Science and Technology with a Ph.D. in Engineering. I am a doctoral supervisor and a national second-level professor. I have served as Director of the Institute of Biochemistry, Dean of the School of Biotechnology, Vice Chairman of the Academic Committee, Head of the School of Science and Art at East China University of Science and Technology, and concurrently as Deputy Director of the Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I am currently the founder and director of the Lu Hua Biotechnology Research Institute at East China University of Science and Technology, Director of the Key Laboratory of Biocatalysis and Intelligent Manufacturing of China Light Industry, and Chairman of the Academic Committee of the School of Biotechnology at East China University of Science and Technology. I am a responsible professor for the national first-class major in Biotechnology, the person in charge of the first-level doctoral program in "Biology," the person in charge of the postdoctoral research station in "Biology," the person in charge of the national excellent course "Enzyme Engineering," the national resource sharing course, and the national first-class undergraduate course, and the director of the national "Enzyme Engineering Course Virtual Teaching and Research Center." I am a fellow of the Chinese Society of Chemical Industry, the academic leader of the national key discipline of Biochemical Engineering, the academic leader of the Shanghai key discipline of Bioengineering. I am the Chairman of the Shanghai Society of Bioengineering, Vice Chairman of the Enzyme Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Microbiology, Vice Chairman of the Biotechnology and Bioengineering Professional Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, Vice Chairman of the Enzyme Preparations Professional Committee of the China Fermentation Industry Association, and a standing director of the China Engineering Society. I am also a representative of the "Ninth National Congress" of the China Association for Science and Technology. I enjoy special government allowances and Shanghai municipal special allowances. I became an independent director of the Company in November 2025.
