Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 To actively respond to the global sustainable development initiative, comprehensively implement the national sustainable development strategy, further standardize the management of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) by Shandong Hongqiao Aluminum Industry Holding Co Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), effectively enhance the Company's comprehensive competitiveness in the field of sustainable development, and promote the coordinated, balanced, and long-term sustainable development of the Company's production and operation with the environment and society, this system is hereby formulated.
Article 2 This system applies to the Company's headquarters and all its subsidiaries and holding companies, covering all of the Company's business activities, production processes, and products and services provided, as well as interactions with stakeholders. All employees shall strictly abide by the relevant provisions of this system and actively participate in the Company's sustainable development work.
Article 3 The basic principles of the Company's sustainable development are: (1) Principle of Strategic Guidance: Deeply integrate the concept of sustainable development into the Company's development strategy, making it an important component of the Company's business decision-making and daily operations. (2) Principle of Comprehensive Coverage: Comprehensively cover all aspects of environment, society, and corporate governance, and systematically manage all sustainable development-related matters involved in the Company's operations. (3) Principle of Responsibility: Clarify the responsibilities and obligations of all levels of organizations and personnel in the management and promotion of sustainable development, ensuring the effective implementation of all sustainable development tasks. (4) Principle of Standard Orientation: The construction and improvement of the Company's sustainable development management system will be based on the Company's development strategy and the current situation of production and operation, fully integrating domestic and international mainstream ESG information disclosure standards and rating systems, in order to continuously improve the standardization of information disclosure and the alignment of the Company's sustainable development performance with external evaluation systems. (5) Principle of Continuous Improvement: Establish and improve a mechanism for monitoring, evaluating, and improving sustainable development work, regularly analyze and summarize sustainable development work, continuously optimize management measures and methods, and continuously improve the level of sustainable development management.
