As an independent director of Hunan Boyun New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), in 2025, I have strictly followed the requirements of the "Company Law," the "Stock Listing Rules of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange," the "Shenzhen Stock Exchange Main Board Listed Company Regulatory Measures No. 1," the "Administrative Measures for Independent Directors of Listed Companies," and other relevant laws, regulations, and the "Company Articles of Association" and "Work System for Independent Directors" and other company-related regulations and requirements. I have diligently performed my duties, acted diligently and conscientiously, fully exercised the independent role of an independent director, and protected the interests of the Company and all shareholders. I. Basic Information of Independent Director
Xiao Yu, Chinese national, born in 1956, holds a Ph.D. and is a professor. From December 1976 to February 1978, he worked at the former Guangzhou Railway Bureau Zhuzhou Engineering Section; from January 1982 to December 1987, he was a lecturer in the Department of Materials and Fuel at National University of Defense Technology; from January 1993 to October 1993, he conducted postdoctoral research at the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology in Paris, France; from November 1993 to September 1999, he served as a lecturer in the Department of Materials, Director of the Teaching and Research Section, and Chief Engineer of the New Materials Research Institute at National University of Defense Technology; from October 1999 to March 2008, he served as Vice Dean of the First Academy and Director of the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Ceramic Fibers and Composite Materials at National University of Defense Technology; from April 2008 to May 2016, he was a professor in the Department of Materials at the First Academy of National University of Defense Technology; from December 2019 to September 2023, he served as an independent director of Zhuzhou Oukemi CNC Precision Cutting Tool Co., Ltd.
