I. Contract Signing Overview
On July 16, 2026, CIECC Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CIECC or the Company) signed a commercial contract for the Nicaragua Port of Bluff Construction Project (Phase 1 and Phase 2) with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works of Nicaragua (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Transport).
The contract value for Phase 1 of the Nicaragua Port of Bluff Construction Project is $59.90 million USD, and the contract value for Phase 2 is $34.95 million USD, with a total contract value for both phases of $94.85 million USD. The project is located in the South Caribbean Coast Autonomous Region of Nicaragua. Phase 1 of the project includes the construction of a multi-functional dock capable of accommodating 50,000-ton vessels and supporting facilities, with a scope of work including procurement and construction. The contract duration is 18 months from the date of the notice to commence work. Phase 2 of the project includes the construction of dock supporting roads and bridges, with a contract duration of 16 months from the date of the notice to commence work.
