The company's stock has been suspended since the market opened on January 14, 2021. There is a risk that the company's stock may be delisted.
Shenzhen Smart City Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has had its stock closing price below the par value (i.e., 1 yuan) for 20 consecutive trading days (from December 16, 2020, to January 13, 2021). According to the relevant provisions of the "Shenzhen Stock Exchange Stock Listing Rules" (2020 revision), the company's stock will be suspended from trading starting January 14, 2021. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange will issue a preliminary notice of potential delisting to the company within five trading days from the suspension date.
According to Article 14.2.5 of the rules, if the company applies for a hearing within the specified time after receiving the preliminary notice, the Listing Committee of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange will form a review opinion within fifteen working days after the hearing process concludes. If the company does not apply for a hearing within the specified period, the Listing Committee will review the matter of whether to delist the company's stock within fifteen trading days after the deadline for submitting statements and defenses. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange will make a decision on whether to delist the company's stock based on the review opinion of the Listing Committee.
