I. Notification of Foreign Investment Review Received
On August 14, 2026, Hualian Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") received a "Notice" issued by the Canadian foreign investment review and economic security authority ("FIRES") pursuant to Section 25.2(1) of the Investment Canada Act. FIRES believes that the Company's investment in the Argentine Arizaro Lithium Salt Lake Project may affect Canadian national security and may initiate a further review within 45 days of the issuance of the "Notice" pursuant to Section 25.3(1) of the Investment Canada Act.
