Ongoal, with the mission of "making material processing simpler", focuses on the R&D, production and sales of automated processing lines and equipment for bulk materials such as powders, granules, liquids and slurries. It is a provider of material automation solutions with independent core equipment, accessories and software. Based on a series of demand factors provided by downstream customers—including their product types, the physical and chemical properties of raw materials used, the scale of new production capacity, product quality standards, and production process routes—Ongoal delivers tailored material automation solutions. Leveraging these solutions, it manufactures production lines or standalone equipment integrated with its proprietary core equipment, accessories and software. Ongoal’s main products are material automation processing lines and equipment, designed to process powdery, granular, liquid and slurried materials in processing industries. Depending on customers’ production processes, its automated lines address multiple process needs—including feeding, dosing and metering, conveying, agitating, mixing, crushing and grinding, drying, and packaging—and enable full-process automation and intelligent operation via software control systems. Standalone equipment, by contrast, is used for single process requirements such as mixing and transmitting. Ongoal’s main products include: (1) Homogenizing Mixer The dry electrode manufacturing process contains no solvents, thus requiring high-performance fibrosis mixing equipment to avoid damaging active powders and preventing powder agglomeration. Developed to address this need, the Homogenizing Mixer is applied in the powder mixing and fibrosis process. It balances high efficiency, stability, and material protection while featuring continuous production capability, making it suitable for high-requirement mixing processes in dry electrode manufacturing. It enables complete material discharge with a residual rate of less than 0.5%, resolving issues like excessive bottom residue and incomplete discharge in existing fibrosis materials. (2) Integrated Coating Mixer The Integrated Coating Mixer is primarily used in the coating process of lithium battery materials. Its largest model, at 3000L, offers a batch processing capacity of over 3.5t and a single-batch mixing time of 30 minutes, delivering high-intensity mixing and coating effects. Meanwhile, it boasts a high degree of modularity with replaceable agitating components, enabling adaptation to various working conditions such as fibrosis,multi-material blending, and material coating. (3) High-Solid-Content High-Efficiency Slurry Mixer The new high-efficiency slurry mixing system significantly boosts slurry production efficiency, reduces energy consumption, minimizes equipment footprint, and substantially lowers overall operating costs. It has undergone extensive material-based process verification and evaluation with major domestic battery enterprises, gaining recognition for its slurry processing performance, temperature rise control, discharge efficiency, and mixing effectiveness—outperforming similar equipment by a significant margin. Building on this foundation, Ongoal has launched a high-efficiency slurry mixing system suitable for high solid content through iterative improvements to the mixer, circulation tank, and overall system. It increases applicable solid content by 3-5% compared to conventional equipment and expands viscosity adaptation from the existing 100,000 cp to 500,000-1,000,000 cp. This widens the process window of existing high-efficiency slurry mixing, equipping the system with high solid content processing capabilities, increasing slurry solid content, reducing solvent usage, and lowering energy consumption in the coating and drying stages. It resolves the issue where existing high-efficiency slurry mixers are incompatible with high-viscosity stirring of negative electrode slurries. (4) Twin-Screw Extruder The dry electrode fibrosis process requires strong extrusion and shearing at a specific temperature to fully fibrose the PTFE binder. Twin-screw extruder, with its elongated processing channels and enclosed narrow extrusion-mixing space, offer significant advantages in temperature control, shear intensity, and energy consumption. However, conventional twin-screw extruders tend to jam when processing dry powders, and small-gap screws are prone to metal wear, which affects electrode performance. Recently, Ongoal has developed a twin-screw extruder suitable for dry electrodes based on its existing wet-process twin-screw extruder technology. Through specific thread combinations, it achieves full fibrosis of PTFE without damaging material particles, while ultra-wear-resistant screw materials have been developed to address screw metal wear. (5) Vertical Bead Mill The Vertical Bead Mill overcomes pain points of horizontal bead mills such as screen clogging and short mechanical seal lifespan. Its non-screen separation design ensures permanent non-clogging, while integrating both coarse and fine grinding functions to shorten the process path. Zirconium beads can be used continuously with an 80% reduction in wear, enabling ultra-fine grinding with D50 below 100 nanometers. Equipped with multiple anti-bead-leakage designs, it comprehensively enhances product competitiveness. (6) Fully Automatic Unloading System The Fully Automatic Big Bag Unloading System, the first product in the lithium battery material sector to achieve fully automated big bag unloading, has been granted 9 authorized patents. It enables automated non-destructive bag grabbing, feeding, and arranging, reducing the need for feeding personnel. With a single-unit feeding efficiency of 20 bags/hour, it significantly improves feeding productivity. The equipment ensures material residue ≤ 150g per bag, with a residual rate below 0.03%—substantially reducing material waste compared to manual feeding, making it particularly suitable for high-value materials. Its enclosed chamber with micro-negative pressure design, combined with multi-point, time-phased, and independently intelligent dust control, prevents dust leakage and meets OEB4 protection requirements (<10μg). This resolves long-standing issues in big bag feeding such as low automation, unstable residuals, and poor working environments. (7) Fully Automatic Loading System The Fully Automatic Big Bag Loading System is a fully automated big bag packing equipment designed for the lithium battery material industry, holding 14 authorized patents. It integrates functions including automatic supply of big bags and pallets, automatic bag opening and sleeving, automatic filling, automatic sampling, automatic re-inspection, automatic vacuuming and heat sealing, automatic labeling, and automatic warehousing. With a packing accuracy of 0-100g and efficiency of 6-10 bags/hour, it maximizes packing efficiency and quality. The bag-grabbing process utilizes an AI vision recognition system with learning capabilities to locate bag openings, while robotic arms perform non-destructive opening, enabling automatic bag loading and opening.
