It took the lead in China to achieve pilot-scale amplification of LNT (Lacto-N-tetraose) and LNnT (Lacto-N-neotetraose) in HMOs (Human Milk Oligosaccharides), with industry-leading fermentation concentration and purity of its products. Shenzhen Lions King Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. (301305.SZ, hereinafter referred to as "Lions King Hi-Tech") was founded in 2001. As a leading enterprise in China's biotechnology resource utilization and a national high-tech enterprise, it is listed as one of the "Top 70 Innovative Enterprises in Shenzhen" together with Huawei, Tencent, DJI and other enterprises. In August 2024, the company was awarded as one of the "Top 50 Chinese Technology Enterprises" by Fortune. Relying on its independently built biotechnology experimental R&D platform, the company currently focuses on two independent businesses: synthetic biology manufacturing and biomass resource recycling. Among them, the synthetic biology manufacturing business is operated by Longjian Biology, an independent brand and subsidiary of the company. A synthetic biology manufacturing base has been planned and constructed in Zhuhai to produce human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) series of nutrition and health products with advanced synthetic biology technology. The quality and purity of its products are leading in the industry. In October 2024, the company's human milk oligosaccharide (new tetrasaccharide) product passed the approval of the National Health Commission, and relevant regulatory procedures are being continuously improved. The biomass resource recycling business mainly adopts biotechnology such as microbial technology and biocatalytic methods to convert biomass waste into resource-based products such as biodiesel and clean power.
