(referred to as “Gemac”) is a publicly-traded company under the control of China Railway Wuhan Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. Headquartered in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, China, the company primarily focuses on research and the manufacturing of railway engineering machinery, holds the prestigious designation of being recognized as a high-tech enterprise by national authorities, and also serves as a specialized training and examination center for railway self-propelled special equipment. The product portfolio of Gemac encompasses five significant categories, which include heavy-duty rail cars, electrified railway construction, maintenance and testing equipment, heavy and medium-duty rail maintenance machinery, urban rail transit engineering vehicles, and logistics equipment (including containers).
