Natural gas supply and pipeline operation The company's gas business segment is primarily engaged in natural gas trading and sales, long-distance pipeline transportation, urban gas transmission and distribution, as well as gas engineering design and technical services. The company and China United Coalbed Methane Corp., Ltd. has jointly invested in the construction and operation of the Shen-An Pipeline, which connects the coalbed methane resources from the eastern edge of the Ordos Basin with the gas demand markets in North China, delivering natural gas (primarily coalbed methane) to the region. Leveraging the Shen-An Pipeline, the company has built downstream branch lines to actively expand its terminal markets and vigorously develop gas trading and sales businesses.
