As Eastsoft enters the intelligent technology domain, its biggest competitive advantage stems from its microchips. In 2015, Eastsoft introduced the first domestic PLC+micropower dual-mode communication solution.In 2016, the first domestic mesh network Bluetooth low-power chip, the BLE4.2 was introduced. Following, Eastsoft launched its commercial security chips in 2017. The Bluetooth 5.0 chip is being developed to support the global connectivity of mesh network.

Qingdao Eastsoft Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (hereafter “Eastsoft”) was founded in June 1993 and in February 22, 2011, the company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock code: 300183, stock name: Eastsoft) with a registered capital of RMB 453 million. Eastsoft has four wholly-owned and three partially-owned subsidiaries, and offices in 28 provinces. After years of unremitting efforts, Eastsoft has built, with smart manufacturing as foundation and microprocessor design (Eastsoft Microelectronics Co., Ltd.)as the driver, a two-pronged business strategy of smart electricity grid (Eastsoft Communication Technology Co., Ltd.) and intelligent applications (Eastsoft Intelligent Electronics Co., Ltd.). Eastsoft’s development strategy is based on integrated circuit design, and carries out technology research and development by using integrated communication as the platform. The industry chain layout is "chip, software, terminal, system, information services", becomes a first-class international enterprise by focusing on the two emerging strategic areas of energy IoT and Intelligence.
