(formerly Yantai Spandex Co., Ltd.&YantaiTayho Advanced Materials Co., Ltd.) is located inYantai City ofShandong Province which is one of China’s first opened coastal cities as well as an important port of Bohai Rim Economic Circle. The company was founded in 1993 as the first specialty fiber manufacturer in China, and was listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2008. YantaiTayho specializes in development and production of high performance fibers, being awarded as a national level new & high technological enterprise. It was the first in China to realize the industrialization of high-tech specialty fibers including spandex, meta-aramid and para-aramid. The National Aramid Engineering Technology Research Center is located at Tayho and run by Tayho. The company has employees of more than 3,000 and total assets of more than 14 billion RMB Yuan.
