I. Cableway Service At present, the company has undertaken the operation of Glacier Park Cableway, Spruce Meadow Cableway and Yak Meadow Cableway in the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Initially built in 1996, Glacier Park Cableway Project was completely refined and expanded at the end of the year 2010 by introducing advanced technologies and equipment from Italian LEITNER. With a total length of 2968 meters and a vertical altitude difference of 1150 meters, it starts from the 3356 meters-high primitive forest above the sea level and ends at the snow mountain’s 4506 meters-high platform above the sea level. In fact, Glacier Park Cableway is an exceptional round-trip tourist cableway in China combining both tourist transportation and rescue services. Located at the eastern slope of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain’s main peak, Glacier Park develops the Baishui No.1 Glacier and is an unwonted scenic area in China which can be easily reached by tourists to experience and appreciate the high mountain and polar region environment. First established in 1994, Spruce Meadow Cableway was reconstructed and expanded in 2007 with a total length of 958 meters and a vertical height difference of 265 meters. Located at the eastern foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Spruce Meadow is 3261 meters high above the sea level and known as the alpine meadow hiding deep in the primitive spruce forest. In the Naxi Nationality’s myth, Spruce Meadow is the entrance to the Jade Dragon Third Country. As the meadow pasture with an area of 16.6 square kilometers deep in the snow mountain, Yak Meadow holds the best angle to have a close view of 13 peaks in Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Meanwhile, various scenic spots are scattered in this region, including Yak Snowfield, Yak Snow Valley, Heishui Lonely Valley, Heishui Waterfall Ice Bride, Snowflake Lake, Jade Pool, Yak Greek, Splendid Meadow, Bright-colored Mountain Flower, Lijiang Hemlock Forest, Redwood Forest, Quercus pannosa Forest, Snowflake Village and The Tibetan Folk Custom etc.. II. Cultural and Artistic Performance Impression Lijiang is a large-scale live-action performance planned, created and directed by many famous artists such as ZHANG Yimou, WANG Chaoge and FAN Yue etc.. It takes more than one year to finish the creation and adaption work and the show was first put on stage in July 2006 by dividing into six parts: Tea Horse Road and Caravan, Snow-capped Mountains of The Wine, Immeasurably Vast, Playing Naxi Song and Dancing, Worship the Heaven by Dance, and Blessing Ceremony. Located at Ganhaizi of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Area at the altitude of 3100 meters, the performance theatre directly faces Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with the blue sky, white cloud, snow mountain and wild field constituting the splendid natural display screen. As the magnificent red rock-shaped stage slowly unfolds in front of the audience, tourists from all corners of the country sit opposite to the snow mountain, bathing in the sunshine, rain and dew of the highland, breathing the fresh air and enjoying the great visual feast. In January 2012, the company issued 1,2584,909 shares to the scenic area branch for purchasing 51% shares of Impression Lijiang held by the branch. Thereafter, Impression Lijiang becomes the company’s holding subsidiary. III. Hotel Construction and Operation Within the reporting period, the company operates Inter-Continental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort, Hotel Indigo Lijiang City, Hotel Indigo Diqing Moonlight City, Hotel Indigo Lugu Lake, Holiday Inn Batang and LUX* Tea Horse Road Hotel Series and IHG is entrusted to conduct the hotel management; LUX* Tea Horse Road Hotel Series include 8 boutique hotels: LUX* Tea Horse Road Lijiang, LUX* Tea Horse Road Shangri-La, LUX* Tea Horse Road Benzilan, LUX* Tea Horse Road Peach Blossom Valley, LUX* Tea Horse Road Stone Town, LUX* Tea Horse Road Sangushui, LUX* Tea Horse Road Xiaomidi and LUX* Tea Horse Road Lashihai, and LUX* Resorts and Hotels Group is entrusted to conduct the hotel management. IV. Catering Service Located at Ganhaizi, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Catering Center (Snow Kitchen) was completed and put into operation in September 2013 with a construction area of about 16,000 square meters. It is capable of holding 3,000 people to have a meal while enjoying the splendid scenery as a unique catering service complex integrating catering service and tourist distribution function. In September 2019, Snow Kitchen became the largest catering service unit which was included in the new supervision platform in Yunan Province as well as the first catering service unit docking the new supervision platform in Lijiang. Besides, it was entitled as “Model Unit with Transparent Kitchen”.
