Company Profile
(1) Resource Endowment Advantages The company’s operational wind farms and photovoltaic power stations are primarily located in Xinjiang, a region with significant geographical advantages. Xinjiang boasts vast territory and abundant wind and solar resources, positioning it as a key large-scale clean energy base under China’s 14th Five-Year Plan and the 2035 Long-Range Objectives. For wind energy, areas with an average annual wind power density exceeding 150 W/m² cover approximately 126,000 km², and the entire region is classified as a National Class I or III wind resource zone. Xinjiang’s total wind energy reserves reach 890 GW, with technically exploitable wind resources at 70 meters height totaling 780 GW—15.4% of China’s total and ranking second nationally. Key wind-rich zones, including Dabancheng, Alashankou, and the Laofengkou area in Tacheng, are ideal for large-scale grid-connected wind power projects. For solar energy, Xinjiang benefits from long sunshine hours (2,550–3,500 annually), high atmospheric transparency, and abundant irradiation, with total solar radiation ranking second nationally (after Tibet). All regions in Xinjiang are designated as National Class I or II solar resource zones. (2) Project Acquisition Advantages Under the Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan for Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region’s National Economic and Social Development and Long-Range Objectives Through 2035, Xinjiang will accelerate the integration of coal, electricity, oil, gas, wind, solar, and energy storage to build a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system. Key initiatives include establishing the Zhundong 10 GW-level new energy base, advancing the Hami North 10 GW-level base, and developing the Southern Xinjiang-Tarim Basin 10 GW-level clean energy supply zone. Xinjiang also aims to expand its "Xinjiang Power Outbound Transmission" capacity, targeting 180 billion kWh of exported electricity by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan period. (3) Shareholder Resource Advantages The controlling shareholder, Xinjiang Energy Group—a "main force" in Xinjiang’s energy sector and a key driver of its "Ten Industrial Clusters"—has built a diversified portfolio spanning coal, oil and gas, mineral resources, clean energy production, and energy services. Its robust industrial foundation and strategic government partnerships provide strong support for the company’s expansion. As the group’s sole listed entity, the company serves as a platform for consolidating internal resources and assets, aligning with national strategies like the "Three Bases and One Corridor" and energy security initiatives. (4) Specialized Management Advantages With over a decade of focus on renewable energy project development, construction, and operation, the company has cultivated a highly efficient management and operations team. It excels in cost control, project execution, and safety, maintaining a "zero accidents, zero casualties" record. Its mature systems in market development, project approvals, engineering, construction, and maintenance ensure efficient and secure project delivery. Continuous optimization of management and technology has significantly improved power generation efficiency and economic outcomes. (5) Innovative Management Model The company employs a "Management + Supervision + Control" model, requiring qualified suppliers to adhere to strict standards in engineering, operations, and safety. This approach ensures high-quality project delivery while fostering long-term partnerships with suppliers, enhancing operational efficiency and management capabilities. (6) Talent Advantages The company attracts multidisciplinary talent with deep industry expertise and has established a unique talent development system. Through specialized training, skills competitions, frontline experience, and job rotation, it nurtures high-level professionals and technical experts. Innovative recruitment mechanisms further strengthen talent reserves, injecting vitality into the company’s growth. (7) Sustainable Development Capabilities By the end of 2024, the company’s approved renewable projects under construction totaled 1,600 MW. It is actively expanding its market presence, prioritizing "Xinjiang Power Outbound Transmission" projects and exploring integrated applications such as "dual joint operations," new energy storage, and "source-grid-load-storage" systems. With strong financial credibility and stable partnerships with financial institutions, the company plans to diversify funding through private placements, corporate bonds, and REITs-like instruments, ensuring robust capital support for sustainable growth.
