CGN Nuclear Technology Development Co., Ltd. (CGNNT), a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), serves as a strategic platform for the industrialization of developing nuclear technology applications. At present, the company has formed a domestic business layout featuring three core fields of electron accelerator manufacturing, irradiation processing service and modified polymer material, and is actively expanding into the international market. The company is also steadily pushing forward emerging businesses such as nuclear medicine, nuclear instrumentation and equipment, and new applications of irradiation processing. Being the largest industrial electron accelerator manufacturer with the strongest R&D capabilities in China, CGNNT owns the most complete product categories, structures and specifications. Its products have been exported overseas and hold a leading position in market share of Southeast Asia and South Asia. The company is also a front runner in multiple new applications of electronic accelerators, such as industrial sewage treatment, tire vulcanization, and soft drink packaging sterilization by irradiation. The company also tops its domestic peers in electron beam irradiation processing service, owning the most electron accelerators, having the largest production capacity and the widest range of irradiated products in China. The company has a comprehensive grasp of the disinfection and sterilization technology of medical supplies, food preservation, and modified application technology of materials including, cable and pyrocondensation material.
