(1)Main business of the company Taking "Green Technology and Quality Life" as its mission, BNBM promotes the building, city and residential environment to be greening, vigorously develops a circular economy, promotes building energy conservation and prefabricated buildings, and builds a green building industry chain with full life cycle from raw materials, production, products, construction, application and recycling. BNBM implements the development strategy of "Core Business with Dual Engines and Global Layout", strengthens and improves gypsum board and gypsum board+, accelerates and strengthens waterproofing and coatings, lays out the international market in Asia, Africa and Europe, and accelerates the transformation to a comprehensive manufacturer and services provider of consumer building materials. (2)Industry development situation The gypsum board of BNBM is widely used in the construction and decoration of office buildings, hotels, guesthouses, sports stadiums, industrial plants, and residential buildings. Since 2005, under the guidance of the national policy of vigorously developing the circular economy, a series of industrial policies such as building energy conservation and the development of environmentally friendly products have driven the continuous development of the domestic gypsum board industry. The gypsum board market in China grows steadily. There is still a large gap compared with mature markets in the United States, Europe, and even the world average. In China's current stage, the commercial and public building decoration field is the main consumer market for gypsum board (accounting for about 65%), and the application of gypsum board in the residential field is still in the promotion and development stage (accounting for about 35%). In China, about 70% of gypsum boards are concentrated in the ceiling area, and there are few applications in the partition wall area. However, referring to developed countries such as the United States and Japan, about 80% of gypsum boards are used in wall construction. With the implementation of the national green development strategy and the development of the prefabricated construction industry, the application of gypsum boards in the partition wall area in China will have broad room for improvement. Over the years, as the leading enterprise in the domestic new building materials industry, BNBM has been in a leading position in terms of brand, quality, technology, scale, and efficiency. The gypsum board products of the company are produced according to sales, mainly using the channel sales model. The marketing network now covers major cities and developed areas in the country. Through the intensive dealer sales network and flat management, and by conducting comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with real estate developers, decoration companies, and home decoration companies, it achieves full coverage of the market. The "Loong Brand", "Taishan" and “Dream Brand” gypsum boards under the company can meet the needs of different customers, with strong system supporting capabilities and the ability to provide a full range of products and application solutions. Currently, the waterproof products of BNBM cover more than 100 product series such as self-adhesive waterproofing membranes, high-polymer modified asphalt waterproofing membranes, polymer waterproofing membranes, waterproof coatings, and waterproof accessories. One-stop solutions are widely used in infrastructure buildings, transportation engineering, residential and commercial real estate, industrial buildings, urban renewal and renovation, and civil building materials. The domestic waterproofing material industry is developing rapidly, but the industry concentration is not high, and the industry ecology needs to be improved. The implementation of the national standard "General Specification for Building and Municipal Engineering Waterproofing" since April 1, 2023, has built a new industry access threshold, which is conducive to the accelerated exit of low-quality waterproofing materials, and the promotion of the industrial upgrading of the waterproofing industry, and the further improvement of the concentration of the waterproofing material industry. In 2024, industry competition intensified and industry concentration further increased. At present, there are gaps in the technological level and industrialization capacity of China's coating industry compared with the level of foreign products and industrial systems. The domestic coating industry boasts a large number of enterprises, resulting in a relatively decentralized competitive landscape. The intensification of competition within the industry has driven it into a consolidation phase, further enhancing industry concentration. According to the China National Coatings Industry Association, in 2024, the total output of the Chinese coatings industry decreased by 1.60% year-on-year, while total main business revenue increased by 1.56% year-on-year, and total profit increased by 9.34% year-on-year. During the reporting period, there were no significant changes in the main businesses and operating models of BNBM, and the performance was in line with the development of the industry.
