In 2024, TCL CSOT ranked second globally in TV panel shipments, and first globally in terms of panels in the sizes of 98 inches and above. The Company has built T9 production lines targeting high-value-added mid-size products such as IT and commercial displays, achieving a full-size strategic layout. In 2024, it secured the world’s second-largest market share in MNT panels and led globally in key segments such as e-sports monitors and LTPS laptops. In 2024, the Company achieved the official mass production of printed OLEDs and released the first professional display screen, further consolidating its leading position in industry technology. TCL was founded in 1981, formerly one of the first joint ventures in China - TTK Home Appliances Co., Ltd. Initially engaged in the production and manufacturing of magnetic tapes, and expanded its business scope to areas such as intelligent terminal products, semiconductor displays, new energy photovoltaics, industrial finance, and investment platforms. In 1999, TCL took the lead in entering the Vietnamese market, taking an important step for Chinese enterprises to "go global". To date, it has established 43 research and development centers, 10 joint laboratories, and 32 manufacturing bases worldwide, with business covering more than 160 countries and regions worldwide, becoming a globally competitive intelligent technology industry group. In 2019, TCL completed its asset restructuring and split into TCL Technology Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "TCL TECH.") and TCL Industrial Holdings Co., Ltd. (referred to as "TCL Industry"), focusing on the development of their respective main businesses.
