The company (named CITIC Offshore Helicopter Co., Ltd, COHC) belongs to the CITIC group, which is one of the largest state-owned enterprises in China. COHC has developed itself to be the only general aviation company in the stock market in China and has become the largest general aviation company in Asia by now. The business scope includes helicopter service for onshore and offshore oil service, harbor piloting, public charter flight, EMS flight, ocean survey, forest fire protection flight, aerial tourism flight and etc. COHC has heliports in Shenzhen, Tianjin, Zhanjiang, Dongfang and operation bases in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang，Fujian and Myanmar. Besides the operating base, COHC also owns the maintenance company and training collage, which is a comprehensive company integrating aviation, airport and maintenance services. COHC owns the biggest helicopter fleets in Asia with more than 70 helicopters. Forming by Eurocopters Supper Puma EC225, AS332L1, Dolphin EC155B/B1, SA365N, America’s Sikorsky S92, Italia’s Agusta A109E and etc.COHC has over two hundreds pilots in the company, among them, 140 pilots having been certificated as captain. COHC recognizes the importance of pilots training and has sent large amount of pilots to conduct training and study advanced flight and management experience from UK, France and United States.The average flight time for the captains is over 6,000 hours, 16 of them having been over 10,000 hours. There are 6 captains holding JAA license and 33 captains holding FAA license. COHC is the only general aviation company China which has international qualifications and can undertake overseas flight operations.COHC has nearly 400 skillful engineers, among them some are EASA licence holder with massive aircraft maintenance experience and qualified on Dolphin and Supper Puma helicopters.
