Shenzhen YanTian Port Holdings Co., Ltd. (“YPH”) was established in 1997 by fund raising solely initiated by Shenzhen YanTian Port Group Co., Ltd. for the purpose of accelerating the development of the port during the historic change of China’s reform and opening up, which was approved by Document SFBH [1997] No. 54 issued by the General Office of the People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality. On July 28, 1997, along with a bell ringing, YPH went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock name: YPH; stock code: 000088). Since its establishment, YPH has set up a sound system of corporate governance and a standard listed company operation system; it has resolutely completed a significant restructuring and an equity division reform to protect and increase the value of the state-owned assets in it; and it adopted a way of “restructuring before fund raising”, which was a win-win for itself and its shareholders. The brand of “YanTian Port” and financings from the securities market have been providing strong impetus for YPH to improve, expand and transform its port business. Seizing strategic opportunities arising from China’s Belt and Road, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integration and Yangtze River Economic Belt, YPH steadily expands its port business and at the same time vigorously promotes port-related services. It is committed to becoming a port investor, operator and service provider “with port investment and operation as its main business and a port service supply chain and port-centered business development as its sidelines”. The company's main business scope: port development and management; Cargo handling and transportation; Construction and operation of port supporting transportation facilities; Construction and operation of port supporting warehousing and industrial facilities; Construction and operation of port supporting living service facilities; Container repair; Entrepot trade; Engaged in import and export business. In its port business, YPH operates Yantian Port Shipping Development (Hubei) Co., Ltd. Shenzhen Shenshan Port Operation Co., Ltd. Shenzhen Yangang Port Operation Co., Ltd. and Huizhou Shenneng Investment Holding Co., Ltd., as their controlling owner; and it also operates Yantian International Container Terminals Limited, Yantian International Container Terminals (Phase lll) Limited, Shenzhen Yantian West Port Terminals Limited, Port of Caofeidian Group Co., Ltd. and Hainan Strait Shipping Co., Ltd., as one of their minority owners. Concerning its road and bridge business, YPH controls Shenzhen HuiYan Expressway Co., Ltd. As for warehousing and logistics services, YPH operates Shenzhen Yantian Port Export Cargo Supervision Warehouse Co., Ltd. and Huangshi Xingang Modern Logistics Park Co., Ltd.
